Response to How to paint old weathered wood

Mutuated from my railroad hobby:

In a glass bottle dissolve in red vinegar a handful of steel wool (be careful during the process there is a production of gas with an awful smell, something between rotten eggs and manure!!!)
when the reaction is over, simply use the product as a paint, the more you use and the wood become darker. Applying bleach you will fade away a too dark result.

P.s. apologies for my english

Roberto
