Hi Adam

moss is simple: just get a powdery scatter from woodland scenics (railroad section of your hobby shop) in the appropriate color and fix it with white glue. Woodland scenics grass glue is best because it dries dead flat unlike normal whiteglues which dry semigloss.

Ivy is harder, in 1:35 the best choice is birch seeds but these are too big for 1:72. I would try tea leafs of the "early morning" variety (like Earl Grey breakfast), these are usually smaller than the other varieties like "afternoon" etc. If these are still too big for scale, you can grind them down with a kitchen mortar.
