...Just a follow up as I think it neccessary. A few posts ago I wrote asking if people had dealings with a small company making signs and plaques for modellers called 'Name It' and I was curious if anybody had any ideas why they had not responded to my original letter to them. I was eventually happily replied to and everyone was also very supportive of this company which came as very comforting too, now I would like to ad my own voice. Name It made my sign to my spec's and packaged it very well but the sign wasn't exactly what I wanted I have to admit, and the problems with it are unfortunatly all mine. I wish I could blame them:-) That would at least settle my ego but the thing is they are a excellent little company.
It is the first time that anybody has posted a product to me without payment first and waited patiently for it to arrive in my hands and for me to then be happy with it. They even offered to replace it when I thought it very well made just not exactly what I had wanted (again don't forget that's my fault) so how can I ask them to fix my mistakes? In short, I can't, I want too, but I can't:-) Anyway, ask yourself this, When was the last time somebody/anybody sent you a product and then waited for you to receive it on the other side of the world too (UK-OZ) before expecting payment. I thought this sort of business had long since died out. Two thumbs up from me, and although I may very well have to replace my sign I know where my new one will be ordered from and the ones after that too. This little company has really impressed me no end and I thank the people and fellow modellers who pointed me in truly the right direction.
