Hi Bob;

The DML rail is true rail, looks to be about 100# rail.

My suggestion is go to Model RR shops. You can buy the rail separate in true "O" gauge or 1/48th. You can get everything you need to lay accurate track. It's not quite tall enough for 1/35th rail but if you just want some track in your diorama that's the best way to go. Just lay it to the correct gauge and it doesn't look bad.
