Response to Dio idea....

From what I've seen the Schwimm was the preferred light car in the Ist SS Panzer Corps in both France and Bulge. The SdkFz 251 could be the armored infantry with their CO in the car, going by some thing interesting like a very typical sight in the Ardennes: a broken down Panther (or the remains of an M8 or M3 like in that film, you always see), or maybe stopped on a road as the infantry dismount to clear a road obstacle left by "those damned engineers"( with the engineers hiding in the underbrush? Dragon's new US Anti-tank team springs to mind...)
For the Hurtegen, Shermans and M10s supported the US with the usual array of softskins and Stug III and IV's and Pzkpfw IV's were with the Germans. Mounted infantry were not used to a great extent so you could leave out the halftracks. Artillery SP and otherwise were also present, I think Wespes or their French Chassis' equivelent but I don't think Hummels.
