After my girlfriend persuaded me to pursue the hobby more seriously, I made this small dio using Tamiya field kitchen and some figures (also Tamiya with modified heads). This is also the first time I use washes and drybrushing techniques.
Sorry I couldn't paste the pics in (tried several times, error messages only), so please copy and paste these two URLs to view the pics.
Comments welcome.
Hi. Your dio looks nice. I like the expressions on some of those faces. A few comments. The figures look a bit glossy, but that may be just the flash from the camera. Also, i would throw in some accessories in the dead space. Its too empty. Put some crates maybe, or a tree stump, something to fill some of the empty space. Just a few suggestions. Looks good. What are you working on now?
Thanks for the comment. Sorry my reply is pretty late, I dunno whether you would read this or not. The dio is indeed not 100% finished. I was planning to put a tree at the bottom right, as the supporting platform for one guy who is handing the cigarette (he will be moved to face the top right single one soldier carrying the bread).
I am currently still looking for the appropriate materials for trees (people mention dried roots).
Furthermore, I am currently working on a Pz.38t and a small afrika corps diorama (three guys pointing to a map put on ground with a VW 87 next to them).
