US Navy Vehicles WWII Paint Schemes

Does anyone know which paint schemes were used for US Navy Vehicles during WWII (Pacific and Stateside) and also, the closest Humbrol for representation when painting?

Also looking for Photo CD Roms (also books)showing Softskin Vehicles AXIS and Allied for the WWII period. Any suggestions folks!
