Hi,

did anyone of you build Precision Model's Dutch Canal Bridge ? I am particularly interested in the width of the driveway and what weight the original bridge can carry ? Would it be possible to have a tank drive over them ? Sherman or Cromwell i.e. ?

Thanks in advance

Cheers
Carsten

Bridge

Carsten

The bridge by Precision is a double wooden drawbridge
There is no way a Sherman or Cromwell could have driven
across.
The bridge looks the same as a local bridge in my native town Haarlem.
The road deck is quite steep and a small tank like
a Pz.1 would make a chance but no bigger one.

Hope it helps
