My club is about to start work on a rather large (1.5m sq.) Dio. for a public display and we are going to need lots of tree's...
The Dio will be a fictional D-Day beach landing. (fictional so we can mix and match Commonwealth, US equipment..., kids are the target audience, so volume rather than historical accuracy is the aim).
The issue is naturally the size... 1.5m square (aprox 5 foot) is pretty big, but we want it that size so it will have the visual impact we are planning...
Most other things are just normal Dio ground work... just more of it... but the sheer number of trees we'll need is a little daunting (to say the least).
Has anyone any Quick. Cheap. and EASY methods of creating 1/72 scale trees they'd like to share please?

Take a look at No.31 (currently). I suggested using dead goldenrod weeds. Don't know if this is any good to you.
