My other set of posts is on down further, but and since this discussion board often lacks... er.... something, I thought I would keep adding to the board.

Scroll down. There are aerials, maps and photos, including several showing scenes to the east and west and front of the v3001 turret.

What I would like to know is this: In reading about this beach, a DD tank came up and blasted defenders who were in a fortified house. Is the house immediately to the west of the v3001 turret bunker the fortified house or was that further west toward exit D1 (Vierville Draw)?
