I agree that there is no perfect church. But Jesus did command us to beware of the teachings of the Pharisees and Sadducees in Matthew 16; 6-12. The teachings of the Pharisees and Sadducees are alive and well in the majority of churches across America. Yes we are to go and be a blessing to others. It is a command but we are to seek Him who knows exactly where those hungry ones are who will receive and hear what you have to say. If we just show up at some random church to be a blessing and sit under some legalistic or relegious teaching it will suck us in and deceive us just as it has countless of others.
