By the way, I am really struggling with church attendance myself.
I'm convinced "being fed" on some kind of regular basis is one of the foundational things needed for a person to feel the freedom to choose to show up on Sundays. (What the term "being fed" means might make another good thread!) Of course, no church will ever be perfect as stated by W.C.S.
One final thought: If this church teaches guilt in words and deeds, man oh man, I would get out of there A.S.A.P.
