I heard someone speak on this and I thought I would throw it out here on the forum.
In short, the idea was this:
One gauge to assess our spiritual vitality and sense of fulfillment is through our work. To the extent that we enjoy our work in various aspects (our choice of our career, use of our skills/talents, enjoyment of our day-to-day work life), that will greatly affect our spiritual lives for better or worse. What do you think?
Part of this idea "hits home" with me, but in other ways, I think it has many limitations. I welcome your comments and just might elaborate with mine at some point.
