I've been playing with some guys that have a paintball 'tank' and we were a little successful with a claymore, but we need something that is more obvious. Well, you don't really have to have plans per say. You could go ghetto-fabulous and use a thin (roughly ¼" to ½" thick) piece of foam that will wrap around your neck comfortably and some Velcro to hold the two ends together. If you want to make it pretty, that’s another story. Just look at some examples on other websites and experiment.
As for the materials, you aren’t likely to find some of them at Wal-Mart or Hobby Lobby. You might have to (gasp!) visit a fabric store. The thread and the Velcro you can find at Wal-Mart, the foam is iffy, you might get lucky, and then again you might not. Or, you could do what I did and go to Oklahoma D-day and have a free one handed to you.
we have done it.
we did what severial pyrotechnitions told us could not be done.
we designed a smoke grenade that is ignited by pull string and does so without the use of a prime composition or pyrogen.
you can ignite these color smoke grenades in the dark and not see any flame or sparks.
you can throw them lit into a pile of dry hay and they wont start a fire.

Back in the 80's when i started playing paintball it was called arizona survival games or westworld combat games.To get my fix for paintball the only thing i could find that was close was senario games.But they have gotten just plain silly and over priced.Its good to know that im not alone.Any tips to milsim games in AZ or southwest would be greatly accepted.Thank you ponytail for

I've never made a ghillie suit; I'm curious but that's as far as my interest goes, I haven't the time or the motivation for a project like this. Anyway, what I read suggests that what you really need is patience more than anything else. This isn't a job that you can complete on a conventional sewing machine, so you might want to do a little research on hand sewing techniques. Good luck!

Im looking for a way to speed up my tippman A-5.
I have resp. trigger on it and have tryed to ajust it
every way i can .
I even sent it back to the factory and when i got it back it shot pretty fast but it was turned way down,and when i turned it up it started shooting slower.
My friend put a resp. trigger on his tippman 98 cust. and man you hold down on it and it's super fast.
Help me speed up please.

Im trying to make a paintball cannon out of a pvc pipe. Can anyone give me ideas about how to make it and give me a list on wat stuff i need to buy to make it.
- 1 spare tire
- 1 bipod
- 1 5ft long pvc pipe with a diameter of 5in.
- lots and lots of duct tape.
- 1 psi gauge
- 1 grill ignitor from a barbaque.(the little red button)
- 1 screw on seal. (the w/ a diameter of 5in.)
- 1 1.5ft pvc pipe w/ a diameter of 10in.
- 1 screw on seal w/ a diameter of 10in.
- 1 1ft long pvc pipe w/ a diameter of .75in.

In WWII they used this stuff called webbing... which was like a modular chest rig. You can find that and lots of other tactical crap at your local military surplus store
There is a pretty simple way to make a trap-like mine out of innertubes, PVC, ballons, and a few assorted items. It may already be posted here but
1.you take the PVC pipe perferabley* 40 gauge and drill a hole near the bottom this should be about a half an inch.
2.Take your balllon (the kind you tie into animals) and run it through the pipe. The pull the open end through the hole.
3.Then take the innertube and place inside the pipe as well but behind the ballon.
4.Fill the ballon with your favorite paint color so its about the thickness of a hotdog. Yes this is a mighty task but you'll figure it out.
5.Now plug it, tightly, with a piece of cork with an eyelet screwed into the end. Fill the innertube just enough so that it puts pressure on the ballon. Tie some fishing line, wire, or anything eles you got to the eyelet and rig it up. This can be done by straping or tieing it to a tree then run your string whatever length away. Tie it to a tree or anything eles avaliable.
Does anyone have an idea of what the pressure in a 12 gram co2 is? Im building a double chambered cannon so that i can get more shots and bring velocity down.
Yesterday I just thought I would read up about how to make a Paintball Grenade and i have read some very interesting ideas. I read the one about the Ballon and that seemed simple enough. I figure im gonna try it tommorow and see how it works but is there any other plans to making a paintball Grenade? If any one would, please share what you have found out. Thanks
The first thing you will need to get is a refillable fire extingusher the kind that you can charge with a bike pump. Take a round plastic pen cut both ends off and remove the stuff inside. Now take the hollow plastic tub and shuv it in the end of the hose comeing out the extingusher place a hose clamp around the hose to make it tight. Now fill the extingusher with your paint charge it, this is now your grenade filler. Get some latex surgical tubbing and some plastic ties. Cut lenghts of tub about 4 to 6 inches long, fold one end and clamp it down with the platic tie so that it is sealed shut. Now shuv the other end on to the plastic tub on the extigusher/grenade filler. Open the valve on the Filler and hold the tub it will fill up like a hot dog leave about 2 to 3 inches unfilled on the open end. Once it's filled twist the unfilled end up like a snake coil and rap a bread tie around the coil. Now it's either thrown like a grenade or you can tie a string to the bread tie and make a trip wire mine. These are cheap and people don't steal them.
Take a threaded PVC connector and two end caps, cut a short section of PVC (it should be wide enough to fit a 12 gram co2 cartridge inside, the cartridge should slide up and down easily) drill and de-burr a lot of holes in the short PVC section. Using PVC cement attach the short PVC section to one of the caps, then screw a sharp screw through cap so it pops out in the middle of the short PVC section. Remove the screw and grind/ file the end to a sharp point (this is to prevent the co2 cartridge from snagging on the screw) put the screw back in the cap. In the other cap drill a hole that will fit a small bolt, the head of the blot should not be able to pass through the hole, drill four small holes in the cap, place the bolt in and attach a nut to the bottom of the bolt a few turns down from the end. Using PVC cement attach the short pipe/cap screw assembly to one end of the connector. Place a 12 gram co2 cartridge with the seal end facing the screw in the short pipe. Fill with paint. Teflon the threads to your bolt cap and screw it on (the bolt should rest on the cartridge) there you go! One mine.
I was tempted to buy Lapco's MACHINE GUN SHROUD http://www.lapcodirect.com/air-cooled-machinegun-shroud.htm But the price is a bit steep for an item that's only cosmetic. So I thought why not make my own? I figured maybe take a pvc pipe, drill some holes in it and paint it black. Thats as far as my plan goes. Has anyone attempted this or have any better ideas. hey my name's derek...kind of a gun nut, paint ball, bb guns, or assualt rifles...i know pretty much and after reading the link about the shroud for the A-5. it should work but i'ld spray as much of the inside of the barral as possible to look more real, also the holes have to be fairly exact in their placement so it looks machined placed
Your A-5 already looks like a machine gun why would you want to stick PVC pipe on it and make it look cheap. I play alot of senario games and one thing that I have learned is less is more you don't won't your gun to be any bigger or bulkyer than it has to be.

fill it full of wattery paint. the next time you go on the battlefield squeeze it with the top lid pointing towards your oppenent!! i dont see why it shuoldnt work if you have a plastic popper. good luck!

The watered down paint wets the gun powder that you are using to try and propell it, but party popers are great paremitar alarms just the way the are just rap a trip wire around the triger.
Take a piece of metal piping a little wider then your barrel then cut 2 inches of it off and put some rubber (go to your local bike store and ask for a junk inner tube) lineing in it so it does not scratch your gun then take 2 screws and drill 2 holes in the pipe where you want your "legs" to be then take something like pvc pipe (plastic its dirt cheap) and put a pvc pipe "cap" on both ends then drill two out of the 4 caps (2 caps for each bipole)the size of the 2 screws put a nut inside of each bipole and put the screws under the lining through the holes and into the pvc pipe cap then screw the screws into the nut on the other side of the cap then put the length of pvc pipe on the cap and walaa!!!!!!! Ok, What im trying to build is basically a british 303.. Using gears you should be able to move the bolt back, and forward. With this you can use a spring fed clip ect. I think it would be really fun and you would use a whole lot less paint. I think what i'll do is take a talon and rip it apart and build a new body or even take the size and measurements of the internal parts and make some in the machine shop. Basically I need help with the gear mechanism and the barrel.. I know the size of a barrel that will fit paintballs perfectly 11/16 = .6875 cal.

Ok - Ever heard of a spud cannon? - that will give you an idea of what i'm getting at.
I thought, using a spud cannon and making your own paint rocket would be good - but theres a risk of blowing your head off.
So you could just make a spud cannon and make the right size rounds for it - But yeah - Not sure how - Then theres the rounds themself - You wouldn't make them round, You would make them missle shapped. - Have a back - so they dont melt in your cannon. and have a lightly coated shell at the front - easy enough to break on impact - But hard enough not to melt or crack when dropped.
So the back would be like - Hard - Protected - Maybe using Heaps of foil and ---- Heh i have no idea - Not sure - But anything non flamable will do.... Heheheehe - You dont want to set the whole forest on fire when you play right?

try speed ball this game is a blast and this is what i am used to playing theses wars take 5 minuts tops just pic a small area and put up equil obsticals on each end
this game you will play in turniments -- or you can look on the net and find some cool speed ball places
the game is esay to play all u need to know is that thare is no useing your hooper, only one shot can be fired at a time, can carry unlimited amount of ammo but u can only fire one and only one shot at a time.

I was just wondering, I have a Jt Excellerator and im not that happy with it, its performance is decent most of the time. I was wondering If I should purchuse a Tippmann 98 Custom. I would like to hear from people who have one If I should buy one or not.

the tippman 98 is a good gun but it can be pricy.
i would suggest to try and find the gun seprite if you already have the rest of the stuff
or you might want to ask some others about some other nice guns.
i have the spyder EXTRA and it is a very good gun ( it is acurate and is only 100.00 for just the gun + it cums with a 12 inch barrel ....
i also know this gun that my freid hase is an acurate gun it cums as a kt for about 100.00 or you can get the gun for 60.00 and it come with 2 diferent barels if you are interested then i will find out for you
hey i just got my new gun and i went with the tippman... it is a realy good gun but i would just warn you it is hard to take abart and clean so.... but this gun is very durable so you usualy don't have to take it abart that much
I've never built a tank before but I'm thinking about one for our own field. What im starting with is an Argo. Its slow but powerful enough to go over any terrain. Also you can fit a lot of people in it so It will be able to hold a crew of 3-4 plus weight of the sides. Also I think they would be cheaper then a lawn Tractor. well anyway thats just some thoughts.
The best way i know to make a tank is to find a cheap pice of crap car that still runs. then take out the windows and replace with Expanded steal. and for some room take out most of the seats except the drivers.And ther is a tank that can range in a price of $100 to $400.
The only draw back with useing an old car is alot of times an old car will over heat when it is left running for hours with out going more than 7 miles an our, you could try useing an electric fan to help cool the engin. Your best bet would be an old golf cart these are ment to run a low speeds unlike a car.
People build tanks so that they can show them off at the big senario games, that being said there are rules you must follow while driving around the field one of the first rules is the speed limit with the limit set at like 10 to 12 miles an hour, which is the common speed limit for a tank in a senario, This speed is perfect for a golf cart, in turn the golf cart is the perfect base for a tank. Take a look around at how many tanks are made from a golf cart there is a reason for this.
Iv'e driven cars through my paintball range before a few times, i got it free so i just beat the hell out of it. it got twenty feet into the battle lost a back window to paintball fire, lost the muffler on a big rock ripped of from the header. I also got hit in the throat through an open window, try driving a car in the woods when that happes (Hit a tree) it busted up ther windsheild a bit. we all were wasted in ten second anyway when a guy popped a squadbuster from a law through the window from abotu thirty yards off, it was fun though. You haven't really had fun til you got on guy with an M98 shooting from the passenger window a guy one shooting from a skylight with a Black Dragun and a guy with a cocker shooting out the back window. i sat driving with a zues G2 (Don't drive with a rifle it's a bitch to do either)
hi. I need an idea for a pump to pump up a 2"x 2' schedual 40 expansion chamber. I need a light pump that could pump the cannon to a couple hundred psi. thanks
Make shure you have an escape rout and add some trip wire mines along the rout so that anyone who trys to follow u will set them off just make sure you don't forget were the mines are.
