I went to Oxegen at the weekend and I had such a good time!! Seriously on a high since we came back even though we were in bits!!!
Had a ball, really did and the weather couldn't have been any better. The tickets for next year go on sale on Friday and I reckon they will sell out even faster than this years did.
The highlight for me (as I thought would be) was NEW ORDER. They were the last act on the Ticket Stage Sunday night. Hooky took the place apart with his stage presence and of course his craft of making that instrument roar!!! I was in awe of the man.
Other highlights were KASABIAN, The Prodigy, Doves and seeing HUMANZI for the first time. Watch this space as HUMANZI will be buzzing around peoples heads in the future. Great band, great new act! Jimmy from Doves wasn't too impressed with the security staff at the stage. He slagged them off alot during the gig. SNOOP DOG put on some show on the Main Stage Saturday. I didn't think I would have enjoyed him so much. SLAM & LCD Soundsystem were the highlights for the Dance Tent.
