This forum was established by Carroll O'Connor back in the mid-1990s for the purpose of discussing matters of the day. In the six years since Carroll's death, posters continue to come here to talk about politics, social issues and other matters that impact society and our world. He encouraged fiesty debate and impolite language when talking about issues. Intellectual discourse and ensuing argument was important to Carroll.
