Response to HW97K spring broken + pic (I hope)

Although the spring in my HW97 was not broken. It WAS, however, bent in several places. That gave it a spring-sounding scruntch when cocking and a buzzzz when shooting that I didn't like.

I purchased the FT kit from Macarri and put assembled the rifle with his kit of parts and lubes. It made a huge difference! I know it's not the quality of a full-fledged tune from an experienced master airgunsmith, but it sure did improve the rifle.

Instead of a plastic spring guide with a backing washer, the kit included a turned spring guide. Instead of a spring that had bends and cants in it, the new spring rolled perfectly on a smooth table.
Instead of the scruntching sound and buzz, the rifle shoots very smoothly now with plenty of power for me and my target shooting.

I don't know if shipping overseas creates any problems or not. I think a previous reply gave you the URL for Macarri.
