I'm just guessing that the spacer is used to pre-compress the spring?
Would cutting it down mean less MV?
I'm not sure that I'll need 900+fps in the backyard at 25yds
(At least for most varmits). But I do like the idea of less
twanyness and recoil. Anything that lessens the noise is a
big plus in my case. The backyards here are too close together.
Lucky, there is a woods and swamp in the rear.
