is probably the best overall spring for the gun. Better than original quality, at least original power-- depending on how the tune is set up. (You can make the gun slower or faster) and the end to end inside diameter is more consistant.. less taper. I have used the Paladin in one.. it may have produced a bit more power over the XL-FP, but I don't remember off hand. Unfortunately I haven't had a lot of R&D time lately to play with many of the new springs in many different airguns. RB
