Response to Ok... what distance do you chrony your gun from?

calibers chrony better at a specific distance? I guess I'm asking if you have a specific set up for specific scenarios...

When you buy an air rifle, what is your expected MV vs. advertised MV? Do you go by FPE instead? Is there a standard... say within 10 fps is good, or 20 fps of advertised?

If everyone who has a chrony uses non standard distances, pellets, barrels, etc.. how do you know which is the real #?

It all seems so arbitrary...
