Depends on the gun

Response to Ok... what distance do you chrony your gun from?



For airguns about the same as you, may 5-10 inches from the muzzle to the first sky screen.

For muzzle loading blackpowder guns and high caliber rifles, as much as 10-12 feet away, to protect the device from the muzzle blast.

Pistols and small caliber rifles, about 3-5 feet away.
