My question, and what I am looking for is why?

Response to Is that the case? Or is the truth the exact opposite? That is to say...

Why is this 5% - 10% MV incease not seen? If there is supposed to be something and isn't, doesn't that also suggest a problem?

Also, if each person sets up the chrony differently is there not also room for error there? The difference between 563 and 600 fps with a 14 grain WC is only 37 fps, or the difference, in this case, between saying something is good or bad. A fine line as adding a mere 6.5% to the 563 number puts the MV at 600...

Unless of course altitude makes no difference at all, which does not seem to be the case.

I'm a bit confused by the whole thing.
