I'm not sure what more I could do for Herb. I offered to replace the rifle at my cost, I offered to send him an additional reciever, at my cost.
The rifle that Herb received was not one of my best and I stated that to him both publicly and privately. His posts were negative as was his impression, fair enough...
Johns rifle was a bit faster and John at least appreciated how far the rifle has come from what they are out of the box. His post was positive as was his impression of the rifle, given what it started out as.
I've explained why my numbers are inflated by 5%, and I think the reasoning was, and is, sound given the information I had.
I realize that at some level you may have a bias as we are very close to being competitors. However, the truth is that Herb was expecting something that my rifle never was, and I tried to rectify that situation with him. I am sorry it turned out that way.
Please understand that I hold you in deepest regard and certainly respect your knowledge. However, I believe that I have done all I can with respect to Herb and the explanation of my apparant foibles. Your skewing of the information and/or magnifying negative aspects of what one person has posted seems a negative attack and I'm not sure what is motivating it.
I have sold nearly 30 of these rifles and had only one person, Herb, who was unhappy with what they recieved. Everyone else was well pleased and have appreciated the effort involved.
If you really want to know what the rifle is like, order one. If you are unhappy with it, then post YOUR review.
Respectfully,
Todd
