.. they run around 20 to 25 fps slower than CPL's. Extrapolating that down to pretune levels, I would guess the -97 was shooting them in the 840/845 fps range prior to tuning. Consistency and smoothness should improve as it breaks in.. and velocity may rise a little bit.
Oddly- with
some R-7's.. the guns shoot JSB's FASTER than CPL's(often by 15-20 fps, even though they are a half grain heavier_.. but not in all cases. RB
