Why don't you want to use the OEM seal? Just curious. I recently replaced the seal on my 97. The new seal is the same one used for the R7 and R9 and other R series guns I suppose. The old seal(original) was a different type though. I have read a blurb on JM's site about having to replace the seal often but do not know why or if this was only a problem with the original seal.
