Response to Why not use OEM? |
| I was told that when the gun is cocked, breech closed, that you shouldn't be able to move the chamber side to side, I could, so I replaced mine and viola!, problem solved and a gain of 25 fps took place. Now the seal I replaced is starting to do the same as the first one. I'm not concerned about the 25fps, just the others problems that could arise from it. I've tried shimming it but after awhile, it looked like it was crushed. It wasn't extreme by any means but it definitly flattened it some what. Is your new seal a whitish colour with a small groove around the circumference or is it a solid, like a normal o-ring? Mine has the whitish seal it. My freinds had the o-ring "type". I shoot alot and would like to see something more durable. |
