My gun is about 5 months old......

the original seal was the grooved type as well as the second one. I have 2 on the way as of tonight from the place I bought the gun. They gave me the 2nd under warranty but I offered to pay for the ones coming as even though there are issues with this seal, this is also a maintenance item and I shoot my 97 ALOT!! Plus, I know it takes a while for these guys to get anything from Weirauch let alone reimbursment for the cost of the seal. They're only $4.50 each here in Canada so it's no biggy. I just find it hard to believe that no one has made a better seal for this gun. I'm suprised you got the o-ring type as a replacement. Please keep me updated on how it stands up. Thanks man!
