Okay. I admit it. I lied about the beer.
But here's the true story about the - very real - and very free - GTXs.
It's nearly breaking my heart that folks are so patiently and faithfully waiting for me to re-introduce the GTX, mainwhile I'm making so little progress in that direction. Still, I really don't want to get into the retail business. So here's the deal - strictly offered only to those who don't mind investing a little sweat equity.
Last year when I contracted to have the second batch of GTXs made, and the parts eventually arrived, I was disappointed because I had to reject them. The specified high-strength alloy hadn't been used, instead of being gold anodized the triggers
had been painted, and the hole for the 1st stage screw was missing. Fortunately I was able to get my money back (lucky for me because I was the only person taking any financial risk), and the batch was remade with a satisfactory result.
However, I just remembered that I still have a number (albeit very limited) of that GTX_1.5 batch on hand. So as a stopgap kind of thing, I'm offering them to (seriously) interested parties, free for the asking.
This offer is made strictly on an as-is, use at your own risk, hand rework may well be required and even then success isn't guaranteed, for as long as they last, basis. With those provisos, anyone who would like to try his luck is welcome to fire me an email (pneuguy@hotmail.com), and I'll send him one.
I ask only that only folks apply who actually have a gun to put them in, and also have the definite intention to use them in the (very) near future.
