Response to Russ, do find these guns...

try to get some stainless or just good quality shim steel the thinner the better, cut it to your piston size but take into account the spring holds the bottom of the shim in the cylinder so turn a few mil over at the bottom,/this mod stops any lube entering the compression tube, through the cocking slot,the 77/ 97s are the only weihrauch,s to not have the shim,this is because the sliding cylinder cocks the piston back and not a direct lever, this alone will make the gun more consistant
