I'm kinda old too and apprecuate the 1950's airguns. When Airgun Letter periiodical was sold I read an article abut another bulk fill you might consider. I love mine!
It;s a Crosman 111. It's bulk fill,.177,adjustable trigger,adjustable pwer setting,sturdy flat top reciever for scopes or red dot. Tom Gaylord was right in giving it such praise. It shoots nearly as well as my $1200.00 Morini. I'll never sell eithr of these pistols.
Now ya got me all interested in your rifle.
