Took these over the weekend while I had a bit of sunlight.
With my S400MPR FT with the Classic tube installed I got the following using 7.9gr pellets. Starting fill pressure 150Bar. Ending at 80 Bar.
Shot 1 --798fps
Shot 10--813
Shot 20--814
Shot 30--822
Shot 40--835
Shot 50--848
Shot 60--843
Shot 70--853
Shot 80--854
Shot 90--832
Shot 100-795
Since I have the S400C set up with the same tube, I was curious as to what a shot string from it would look like. The barrel is a bit shorter, and I have a heavier hammer spring in it so I must fill to 200bar on this gun.
7.9gr pellets 200 Bar fill down to 145 Bar
Shot 1--815fps
Shot 10-822
Shot 20-821
Shot 30-822
Shot 40-826
Shot 50-818
Shot 60-806
Interesting that while it was less shots, the spread was quite tight.
While I was at it, I shot a few others and took some pics. Unfortunately, I had the camera set to low resolution for the pics and so had to re-take pics today in between rain and cloud.
The Condor got a few shots run through it beastly gun this is.
Shot the R9 a few times, nothing of note.
Took out the HW30AW for a quick group.
As well as the R7.
I had been struggling with what scope to use on my DAQ Bandit. Ive had several on there, but no scope that I felt captured the essence of the gun in both aesthetics and functionality. I think I finally found one. I picked up this Japanese made Tasco when I was around 12 years old. I got it at a flea market for $10. I remember that it was $10 because I was a bit shocked at the price, but thought to myself Well, its a 10 power scope! and so I got it. Its a 10x40, fixed parallax at 100 yards. After a quick disassembly and re-parallaxing at 40 yards, it works a treat on the DAQ and looks great on it as well. The prior owner had a brake on it and so the muzzle is a bit barked up.
and while I had the big boy out, I also had to get a shot of the DAQ 308. As mentioned in prior rambles, Ive got this one turned down to 140fpe for about a dozen shots.
