Chinese made, you insist?

After all the evidence to the contrary you continue to spout,

"All Crosman rifles are China made, all you have to do is look at the bluing and the materials used. I don't know how they get away with putting made in the USA on their rifles..."

Given a sue-happy America, if "ALL" Crosman products were made in China, some greedy clown and his ambulance-chasing lawyer would be suing Crosman right now. Maybe you should put your money where your mouth is and set your (Gamo) attorney to work.

There is a good amount of design copying in the airgun world, because there are only so many themes and ideas in the industry. The Marauder's Theoben-based trigger is a good example. But of course I'd expect you to insist the Theoben trigger is Chinese as well? We live in a Global economy today, and you can find "outsourced parts" in just about everything you buy today, even the highest priced products of impeccable reputation.

I'm not a Crosman fan... The finish you decry has never been one of Crosman's strong suits, until recently. The Marauder is my first Crosman purchase in decades. But it is clearly head and shoulders above any Chinese product, such as any of the QB78 family... I have recently bought examples of both, so have first-hand experience. How about you?
