I took a soft-coated tool (in this case the handle of a slip-jawed plier) and a hammer and firmly tapped the magazine out. It sheared off the pellet. I've had to do this more than once as I was trying to cure a jam situation I encountered while fitting a Marauder rifle barrel to the P-rod. No damage to the P-rod. No damage to the magazine.
