The reason is that the stock AF trigger, although advertised as a 2-stage trigger, is really only a simulated 2-stage in the sense that only the "2nd stage" actually moves the sear while the "1st stage" only compresses a pretravel spring. The 2-screw DIY mod can't - and doesn't - do anything to change that fact.

The Super, by contrast, converts the AF trigger into a completely different style of 2-stage trigger, in which
both stages cooperate to do the work of moving the sear and fire the gun, much as in such classics as the Rekord.
Of course that's just theory and as they say, the proof of any good pudding (trigger) is in the eating (shooting).
