Response to Some help with springers please.

I think you need a TX in.177 and either a .177 HW50 or an R7 If u want a low to mid powered gun.

I find the TX to be a slightly easier gun to cock than the prosport and equally good off-hand.. The TX is.my favorite all round springer of any type...though the prosport is a slightly more elegant looking gun...and just as accurate.

The hw50 is accurate, powerful, easy to cock and is less hold sensitive than the R series Beemans I have owned. I love all the R series guns....but the longer I shoot, the more I appreciate the lower power models.

And mayyyybe you should cosider an FWB 300 or RWS 75....they are truly amazing guns...capable of extraordinary accuracy that stretches many times farther than their intended use. I have regularly shot sparrows with an FWB300 at 60 yards with cp lites.
