Response to what group size should a shooter expect from a .22 rws 48 or r1 at 50 yards?
my m48 in .177 was a pain to shoot.....
It would jump left, jump right etc until I did a tune. Its a old one but there was about a 1/8" gap between the spring and the spring guide.
I have shoot a few 1/4" groups but 1/2" groups are obtainable... but hold makes a huge difference on the m48.... also test pellets mine likes crow magnum and an old box of cp lights.
My best group was 1 hole @ 54 yards, 3 shots all in the same hole. Thought I had missed when I went up to look, pealed back the target and the 3 pellets stacked fell to the ground
