I have had one for several years. It is a big pistol, but easy to cock and very accurate. IMO they are a great bargain for a basement springer. They are low power but also relatively quiet, with a decent trigger. I would love to take it on the road with me for hotel room use, but TSA has taken all the fun out of that. It would be perfect for that purpose.
I do also have an HW-70 but haven't gotten around to shooting it much. For the difference in dollars I would try the 53 first. Much overlooked in my opinion.
