thumbhole and sporter stock need some opinion

Finally, I got my bsa Shv after long time struggle, I'm happy but I have no stock with the action.

So I need to rebuild my bsa sportsman hv stock, but being it is custom stock I can order it as sporter or thumbhole.

I'm interesting with thumbhole like evanix, fx, hw or steyr style that I supposed more ergonomic and better hand grip, but my stock maker said that it is not suitable for hunting as it is only good for 1 style/position shooting competition, he suggest me to go sporter style (like new bsa ultra stock), it is more flexible to shot from any position and lock time faster.

need some opinion from yellow member here, which I should choose and positive/negative.

TIA
Markus
