Response to I have tried all suggestions including the extra lubricant

...used among enthusiastic and (as you so correctly characterize us) perseverant airgunners, means simply a modification part that can be installed without requiring irreversible changes (e.g., metalwork) to either gun or part. The only airgun accessories I know of that literally "drop in" are pellets, and sometimes even they need a push.

Sorry for any misunderstanding this bit of sport-specific jargon may have caused you. Sometimes we are hasty to assume a shared vocabulary and I am a habitual offender in that regard.

Meanwhile, if you want, I (and probably our other members here) would be happy to do my best to continue to try understand the symptoms you report and make suggestions you may try to alleviate them. And, please take no offense, but if I may make a suggestion about posting style, that effort would be much facilitated if you could somehow separate reports of actual Marauder and HDD symptoms from lengthy discussions of philosophy, etc.

Might that be possible?

Steve
