I've been building these for a few years and each version gets a little better and more refined. I can't seem to keep one for myself, as friends and family really like them and keep wanting one so I give them away, leaving myself without one. The last one I donated to the NRA banquet last weekend and it auctioned for $370!!! What do you guys think of them? They are about 80#, are VERY solid, the table top and seat both swivel, it disassembles to a fairly compact size, it has a 1/2" wide groove to help keep pens/brass/pellets from rolling off the edge and Wade's has a cup/beer holder in the back part. Column is 2" black pipe, front legs are 1.5"x1" heavy wall steel tubing, back leg is 2"x1" heavy wall steel tubing, seat post is 1"x1" heavy wall steel tubing, table top is 1.5" plywood, seat is 3/4" plywood, surface is non-slip painted and the seat swivels on a ball bearing. Table top is attached to the column with a 2" pipe flange.
I'm thinking about trying to sell some occasionally to fund my air rifle interest and buy more metal working tools. What do you think? What do you think they're worth?
Thanks for any input.
