BSA Lightning XL manufactured in? May 14 2012 at 6:29 PM		(Login surfdog) YF


I recently sold a BSA Lightning XL that I purchased 6 years ago. I was the second owner. I was under the impression that it was a UK made Lightning, but the buyer is claiming that it is a Spanish made gun because it has an S in the serial number. I cannot confirm if that is correct. I called AoA and David Slade and neither one could confirm it either. The buyer sent a link to this website.... http://www.airgunspares.com/store/content/87/BSA/ However I know that the gun had a metal laminated cocking link and no bear trap and after reading this thread Im wondering if the gun was made in the UK or Spain. http://www.network54.com/Forum/79537/thread/1333145842/BSA+Lightning+XL-++Differences+between+U.K.+version+and+GAMO+Production The buyer is sending it back and I will have to re-list it but I do not want to list it incorrectly. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
