From the get go it was a "THUNK!". The factory components still gave a little buzz after re lubing with Maccari Lubes. Which made it much much much nicer than with the factory lubrication. So I decided to put in a Vortek kit. There is a slight "Tinny" tone to it. Too little shot count to tell much. Velocity gained between 10 to 14 fps. Now she's creeping in on 625 with RWS Super-point Extra's. Now I think the velocity will come back down after a while. Installation was a cinch. Lubed the rear guide and spring and go! Used a sheet of .005 brass shim paper as sleeve on insert of piston. I have never seen bright pink lube before, lol. I love to hear from you guys how long your Vortek lube lasted before needing refresh.

**** I found the PERFECT tool for removing the new end plug (4) retention plugs. ****

Get a spare Burris Torx's scope ring key. Get the dremmel out and cut off the torx portion. Then buff and smooth out burr's. It's the perfect fit to press out the plug holes. I bet your local gun-shop probably would give you one if you asked. Most will have a ton of them left from installation of customers scopes.

From time to time Everyone should squish some mudd between their toe's!!!!!!
