5 covering a quarter... yeah, I would hunt with this at 100 yards

I spent a little time fooling around with a re-build before tearing it down to anodize...

I had tried sticking quarters in holes drilled partially into my target stand, but the second or third "hit" would pop them out, so I tried hanging one... There's two strikes one on top the other right in the middle of the head (although not consecutive shots...actually, first and last now that I think about it), and one on the back between the 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock hit on the front.

I was shooting from a rest using an Aeon 8X32X50 pushing the JSB's at 910 or so.

This particular action was put together with one purpose in mind... to dispatch small furry animals. Luckily the ST barrel mounted on it seems to do quite well with H&N Baracudas when set up to produce 40ft/lbs, and really well with the JSB 18.1's at 30ft/lbs.

DaveG
