Could adjust it to work at 2K, but considering the size of the air tube (122cc) pumping it to 2500 isn't a problem. Air tube removes on the gauged version. Even at 7 1/2 foot pounds and 2K fill, think you'll find your 40 shots inside of a tight spread (and may find 50 shots).
Using such little "blips" of air, an LDC really does do the job...and with the option of taking it off and not looking like a skeleton (which most shrouded guns look if circumstances require removal of the shroud).
