I'm primarily shooting off-hand to practice for an upcoming qualification requirement.
A few months ago, I was selected to be the Armory Officer for the small prison unit I work at.
In due time, I must become Munitions Qualified.
One of the qualifying tasks for certification is firing 10-shots, off-hand, within the 8-ring
of a B-27 target at 100-yards.

So, my 1-inch pecan target at 10-yards effectively simulates a 10-inch pie plate at 100-yards.
And, with my Daisy 953 modded with AR-15/16 GI peep-sights ... I'm getting some effective practice
in staying within the 8-ring.
