I talked to my local Sheriffs office here in Jacksonville (Duval county) and was told by the officer who called me back that shooting was permited with a safe backstop and that no bounces passed into the neighboring propertys..
Hunting "Game" animals with a Airgun in Florida is prohibited..

the Blackwater WMA. The regs say not allowed, but I spoke with two of the game wardens out there about a month ago and both stated they wouldn't even consider writing a ticket for hunting with one....of course, it's my luck I'll run into the one that will.....but I'm taking my chances and still do...it's a $40 ticket according to them....you can go to www.myfwc.com and click on hunting, and it will give you the regs....you can go to the WMA's and get the regs on each one of the Wildlife Management Areas.

and hunt ALL the time with a Airugun. i've talked to sherriffs and game wardens and both places said its ok.. as for shooting in you backyard, as long as your pellet does not cross your property line its ok too.
