Craigslist is OK for airguns

Abide by your local laws. California is not restrictive on airguns.

Perfectly legal.

There are only restrictions on air rifles in the the People's Republic of San Francisco (big surprise there). The rest of California is still free. As for Craigslist, lots of people do sell air rifles. Worst that can happen is the ad is flagged for removal. Price is right nonetheless.

Yep, been in there several times for PB's and Airguns....

October 8 2009, 10:53 PM

I was looking at an R7 in the store this spring and making a couple comments to the guy behind the counter when he made the CLASSIC comment to me. He said "don't know nothing about those guns, don't want to know nothing about those guns"

I don't blame the whole store for comments like that, but thought it was worth mentioning here happy.gif
See Ya,

craigslist is ok with airguns

in California, try your sporting goods store, if you can buy and walk out with an airgun, its legal. In fact, I haven't heard of any restrictions on buying or selling airguns, only on shooting them.

Actually Craigslist prohibits "BB guns"

October 8 2009, 1:56 AM

But I see them all the time anyway, though someone will probably flag your listing:

"Partial list of items for sale and services the advertisement of which is not permitted on craigslist:

* Weapons and related items, including but not limited to firearms, disguised, undetectable or switchblade knives, martial arts weapons, scopes, silencers, ammunition, ammunition magazines, BB guns, tear gas or stun guns."

that appear to work most of the time, for most people. Lets not make this whole thread more difficult than it needs be.

No weapons on Craigslist ...

October 8 2009, 10:47 AM

pellet guns are among their list of prohibited items. You can post an ad, but if somebody flags your ad it'll get deleted. Tried it myself, even tried a wanted-to-buy ad. They all got flagged/deleted.
