Hi folks! I've been on this site for a couple of weeks reading and learning everything I can. General consensus was to look for an R9 or HW50. I missed the ones that Rob Hawkins had for sale but just didn't know enuf then to 'pull the trigger'. Well, I just did pull the trigger on an R9 Goldfinger in .20 that Jeff Nelson had on the classifieds today. I am super excited and can't wait for it to get here! Anyway, thanks for all the advice and stories - feel like I know some of you already. I'll be posting my thoughts as I get to know this rifle better!
Iv'e had several R9s come and go and the one that I like the most is my .20 R9 with a JM kit and seals great shooter and loves Benjamin cylinders & JSBs.
My R9 is by far my favorite air rifle. It is the perfect balance of accuracy, power and handling...and the rekord trigger is fantastic. What's NOT to luv?
