Holy Smokes!

LOUD and a nice KICK!

Well made stock and action. Looks very professional and clean. Much better than some others I've seen... :o

Mine is 46.25" long and a little over 8 lbs. The balance is just in front of the spot on the forearm where my hand falls naturally - so it feels better than it might otherwise.

Everything on it is STOUT and I am really looking forward to my first weaver base - which is set very nicely to allow for low mounts.

Now I need to start lining up 'accessories'...any suggestions?!?

:D

And I need some AMMO!!

:D

Dan

Looks like enough daylight for a shroud but it would be a mile and a half long then

"Very nice Dan"...I have a couple qustions for you.......

December 17 2009, 1:09 PM

1) How long did it take to get the Gargoyle? From the time you made phone call till it arrived @ your door step?

2) Did you order through Randy or direct from BGMF?

I like the BGMF rifles, they seem very well made, stout and rock solid, thats just my observations from picturess.I have

had a couple others, although they were nice, the BGMF certainly looks better built. I would encourage you to buy

bullets from Bob Vogel,he has a lot of experince with big bore lead and makes great bullets.

Thanks again for sharing Dan

1 - it was just a couple weeks
2 - Yes, through www.adventuresinairguns.com (thanks, Randy!)

I failed to mention one very nice aspect of receiving my Gargoyle - the great packing job! The stock and action were separated for shipping purposes. The stock was wrapped very nicely in heavy cloth paper and bubble wrap. The action was wrapped in foam and sealed inside a PVC pipe.

I went ahead and got the extra valve that Randy offers and it came with the package in its own bag, with instructions.

The Gargoyle went together with the supplied stock screw very easily with no rubbing/binding/etc. Straight in, seated perfectly.

Feel free to ask more questions!
