SWFA has the 6-18x40 for $49.95

These scopes are a little heavy, but optics are pretty clear. The one I owned had cross-hairs that were a tad thick for airgun use.

Clear optics and for the price, hard to beat.
I have several of them and never had any type of problem:)

This scope was produced for the

.17 HMR and is not air gun rated. The only reason I know this is because I got a 17 for my son a few years ago and that was the scope that was recommended for the gun (hence the name "Sweet 17"). The .17 is a necked down .22 and boy is it accurate and fun to shoot. Velocities exceed 2500 fps.

In any case, I think there are quite a few other scopes that you ought to look at before considering that particular scope.

My BSA's

Are all on "AIR Guns", not "Spring Guns".
That being said, I like the extra adjust knobs so I can print my own numbers on them for use with different weight pellets.
I also use the Sweet 22, however, like the 17, it has extra adjust knobs so you can calibrate your own:)
