i havnt sighted it in yet(this weekend) but the optics are very clear. its not a mildot but i can live with that. nd their warrenty looks pretty good, also. i have t on a tuned 50 so i dont see a problem
.17 HMR and is not air gun rated. The only reason I know this is because I got a 17 for my son a few years ago and that was the scope that was recommended for the gun (hence the name "Sweet 17"). The .17 is a necked down .22 and boy is it accurate and fun to shoot. Velocities exceed 2500 fps.
In any case, I think there are quite a few other scopes that you ought to look at before considering that particular scope.
Are all on "AIR Guns", not "Spring Guns".
That being said, I like the extra adjust knobs so I can print my own numbers on them for use with different weight pellets.
I also use the Sweet 22, however, like the 17, it has extra adjust knobs so you can calibrate your own:)
